Credits: Semester students earn 12-15 semester credits. Summer students earn up to 6 credits. Credits and transcript are issued by a fully accredited American university.

Language: Open to students with any level of Italian language ability. Italian language and literature classes are taught in Italian. Electives are taught in English.

Curriculum: Semester students take one Italian language course plus 3-4 elective courses, for a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 15. Summer students take 2 classes for a total of 6 credits per summer session. It is not mandatory to take Italian language during the summer sessions.

Housing: Students live in shared student apartments. Meals are not included, as every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. Semester students will also receive 42 vouchers to use in the university's student-run restaurant (lunch = 1 voucher; dinner = 2 vouchers). Summer students will receive 10 vouchers. Requires a damage deposit of $350, paid to ASA prior to departure.
