ASA offers the following programs in Salamanca:
1) Trimester program open to all levels
2) Summer program open to all levels

Credits:
1) Trimester students can earn 13-16 semester credits per trimester
2) Summer students can earn 5-6 semester credits per summer session
Final transcript is issued by the Universidad de Salamanca.
Language: All courses are taught in Spanish but for any language level.
Academic Focus:
1) Trimester: Spanish language, history, literature and culture
2) Summer: Spanish language, history, literature and culture
Curriculum:
All students take a placement exam on the first day of class, which will determine their level.
Beginner level students take a set curriculum of intensive Spanish language courses. Intermediate, Advanced and Superior
levels must take Spanish language, plus 2-3 elective courses of their choosing.
Housing: All students live with Spanish host families. 3 meals per day and laundry once per week are included.
