Host Institutions: ASA offers the following semester/academic year programs in Sevilla, both of which are open
to students with any level of Spanish:
1) Universidad Pablo de Olavide
2) Universidad de Sevilla

Credits:
1) Universidad Pablo de Olavide: Students can earn 12-18 semester credits during one semester. Credits and final transcript are issued by Universidad Pablo de Olavide
2) Universidad de Sevilla: Students can earn 12-15 semester credits per semester. Credits and final transcript are issued by the Universidad de Sevilla
Curriculum:
1) Universidad Pablo de Olavide: All students take a mandatory Spanish language class and then choose either 3 or 4 electives taught in English or Spanish in subject
areas such as Spanish culture, art history, politics, literature, biology, business, economics and history.
2) The Universidad de Sevilla: Students choose 4-5 classes per semester from a wide variety of Spanish language, liberal arts and humanities electives, including art history, marketing, linguistics, literature, politics, geography, anthropology, history, and much more. (Students taking classes
in English - i.e. students with a Beginner or Low Intermediate level of Spanish - will be expected to take at least one Spanish language class along with their electives in English.)
Housing:
Students can choose to live with Spanish host families who provide
three meals per day and laundry once per week or in a
shared student apartment* (no meals included).
