Study Abroad in Australia
What's Included in the ASA Australia Program?

ALL ASA PROGRAMS IN AUSTRALIA INCLUDE...

ACADEMIC CREDITS: Students who receive pre-approval from their home institution can transfer the credits they earn in Australia to their home institution. It is possible to earn 12-20 semester credits.

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT: At the conclusion of the program, an official transcript from an accredited institution will be sent to your home institution.

ON-SITE STAFF: There will be an on-site director from each university in Australia to help students with any difficulties that they may encounter.

OVERNIGHT EXCURSIONS: Students will go on excursions during each block, as well as an excursion to Sydney between two of the blocks.

ENTRANCE FEES: ASA covers entrance fees to museums and other sites of interest on all organized excursions.

ROOM: Housing is included throughout the length of the program.

TUITION: Tuition at all 3 Australian universities.

FLIGHTS WITHIN AUSTRALIA: Students will fly as a group at the end of each block to their next city.

AIRPORT PICK-UP: Students will receive airport pick-up and drop-off in each city.

MEDICAL INSURANCE: Comprehensive medical insurance is provided for the official period of the program. There is no deductible.

INTERNET ACCESS: All students will have free Internet access at all three universities.

CELL PHONE: All ASA Australia students receive a pay-as-you-go cell phone to use while they are in Australia. (The cost of all phone calls is the responsibility of the student.)

ORIENTATION GUIDE: About a month before departure, students will receive our pre-departure orientation guide that tells you everything you need to know before you go. ASA also sends parents our Parent Guide to Study Abroad after the student has been accepted. Students will also be given a detailed on-site orientation, upon arrival in their host country.

ISIC CARD: Students will receive an International Student ID Card along with their orientation guide. This card gives students discounts on travel, shopping, museums, and much more.
