What's Included in the ASA Dublin Program?


ALL ASA PROGRAMS IN DUBLIN INCLUDE...


ACADEMIC CREDITS: Students who receive pre-approval from their home institution can transfer the credits they earn in Dublin to their home institution. It is possible to earn 12-18 credits per semester at Griffith College. Credits and final transcript are issued by Clark Atlanta University.

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT: An official transcript from Clark Atlanta University is sent to your home university upon completion of the program.

DAY EXCURSIONS: Students will attend 2 day excursions to locations such as Belfast and Glendalough.

OVERNIGHT EXCURSION: Students will attend 1 overnight excursion to a location such as Galway.

ENTRANCE FEES: ASA covers entrance fees to museums and other sites of interest on all organized excursions.

HOUSING: Students live in a shared apartment in the newly constructed Griffith Halls of Residence. No meals are included, but each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. 

TUITION: Full tuition at Griffith College is included. All classes are taught by faculty members from Griffith College and all classes are held at the University.

AIRPORT PICK-UP: Ground transportation is provided from the Dublin airport for students who arrive on the official arrival date, by the designated time. For details on when you should arrive in order to make the airport pick-up, read our FAQs.

MEDICAL INSURANCE: Medical insurance is provided for the official period of the program. There is no deductible.

INTERNET ACCESS: ASA students will have free Internet access on campus. Students are encouraged to bring their laptops in order to take advantage of this.

CELL PHONE: All students on the ASA Dublin program receive a cell phone to use while they are in Dublin (The cost of all phone calls is the responsibility of the student.)

ORIENTATION: About a month before departure, you will receive our pre-departure orientation guide that tells you everything from what to pack, to what things cost, to tips for traveling. ASA also sends parents our Parent Guide to Study Abroad after the student has been accepted. Students will also be given a detailed on-site orientation, upon arrival in their host country.

ISIC CARD: Students will receive an International Student ID Card along with their orientation guide. This card gives students discounts on travel, shopping, museums, and much more.
