LONDON OXFORD
ALL ASA PROGRAMS IN LONDON
INCLUDE:
ACADEMIC CREDITS:
Students who receive pre-approval from their home institution can
transfer the credits they earn in London to their home institution.
It is possible to earn 12-18 credits per semester and 3-6 credits
per summer at Regent's College. Students at London South Bank
Univeristy will earn 16 credits per semester.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT: Upon completion of the
program, ASA will send your official transcript from either Regent's
College or London South Bank University to your home university. For
students attending Regent's College who would prefer an American
transcript, please click
here. Please note that the Regent's College transcript is
included with the program; students requiring a Webster University
transcript must pay an extra fee, which is posted here.
OVERNIGHT
EXCURSIONS (semester programs only): Students are allowed to
take 2 overnight excursions during their program. All hotel and
travel accommodations are included. Examples of overnight excursions
are a weekend in Paris and
a weekend in Dublin.
DAY
EXCURSIONS: Students are allowed to take two day excursions
during their program. All travel accommodations are included. An
example of a day excursions is going to Cambridge, Leeds Castle, Bath & Windsor Castle.
ENTRANCE FEES: ASA covers entrance fees to
museums and other sites of interest on all organized
excursions.
ROOM: Students live in the
Residence Halls on either the Regent's College or London South Bank
University campus. Dorm room with double occupancy is included at
Regent's College and in a single room at London South Bank
University.
BOARD: All students attending Regent's College
will have a meal plan at the college Refectory that includes a meal
allowance of 60 Pounds per week (approx. US$110). Students will be given a
meal card that works on a debit system. Students at London South
Bank University do not receive a meal plan as there are kitchen
facilities in the residence halls.
TUITION: Full tuition at Regent's College,
Regent's American College London is included. All classes are held
at Regent's College.
AIRPORT PICK-UP:
Group ground transportation is provided from London Heathrow airport
for students who arrive on the official arrival day, by the time
designated by ASA. For details on when you should arrive in order to
make the airport pick-up for your group, read our FAQs.
MEDICAL INSURANCE: Medical insurance is provided
for the official period of the program. There is no deductible.
INTERNET ACCESS: All students will have Internet access
at their host institution. Students are encouraged to bring their laptops.
CELL PHONE: All students on the ASA
London program receive a cell phone to use while they are in London.
(The cost of all phone calls, text messages, etc. is the responsibility of the student.)
ORIENTATION: About a month before
departure, you will receive our pre-departure orientation guide that
tells you everything from what to pack, to what things cost, to how
to speak British English. ASA also sends parents our Parent Guide to
Study Abroad after the student has been accepted. Students will also
participate in detailed on-site orientation, upon arrival in their host
country.
ISIC CARD: Students will
receive an International Student ID Card along with their
orientation guide. This card gives students discounts on travel,
shopping, museums, and much more.

It is possible to earn 14-15 credits per semester at Oxford Brookes
University.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT: Upon
completion of the program, ASA will send your official transcript
from Oxford Brookes University to your home university.
DAY EXCURSIONS: Students are allowed to take 2
day excursions during their program to locations such as Bath and the Cotswolds.
ENTRANCE FEES: ASA covers entrance
fees to museums and other sites of interest on all organized
excursions.
HOUSING: Students live in
on-campus apartments in the Oxford Brookes Halls of Residence. Each
apartment has its own bathroom(s) and kitchen and houses 5-9
students; bedrooms are single-occupancy. No meals are included.
LOCAL TRANSPORTATION: Included with your
on-campus housing is a free Brookes Bus pass which takes you to all of the campuses
as well as around Oxford city, and gives you discounted fares on the
Oxford city buses.
TUITION: Full tuition at Oxford
Brookes University is included. All classes are held at Oxford
Brookes University.
