Cambridge (p. 108,863) is a university town about 50 miles northeast of London. It is best known as the home of the University of Cambridge, which includes the Cambridge University Library, King's College Chapel and the Cavendish Laboratory. It is also home to the high technology center known as Silicon Fen. Silicon Fen, which has many software, electronic, and biotechnology companies is second in stature only to Silicon Valley in terms of venture capitol, and is arguably the most important technology center in Europe.
