This unique programs allows students to study in the University of Edinburgh Business School in July, and complete an internship at the world famous Fringe Festival in August (students who need to depart prior to August 28th may do so). Internships are guaranteed and can be in a variety of fields.
The academic course will be taught in 2 two-hour sections per day (depending on the particular day's schedule), and over the 4-week period will cover the following business topics: Business Policy and Strategy, Marketing, Operations Management, Accounting, Finance, Management of Human Resources and Enterprise in the Arts and Culture Industry. Classes will include a mix of summary of key concepts, cases studies, group exercises and plenary discussions. In addition to these blocks, various guest speakers and visits will be timetabled.
All students will live in single rooms in a private student residence hall. The residence hall is within easy walking distance of the Business School and the venues at the Fringe Festival.
