The annual New England-wide study abroad re-entry conference provides an array of information to college and university students who have recently returned from a study abroad experience. Developed by a committee of volunteers in the study abroad field, the conference will offer sessions in adjusting to re-entry, becoming an advocate for study abroad, marketing your international experience, exploring careers in international fields, and finding opportunities to go abroad again.

Location:
The conference will take place on Saturday, October 14 at Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Registration begins at 9:30 am in Mackenzie House; the conference ends at 5:30 pm.

Registration: The Conference is open to any student who has studied abroad, in any foreign country for any length of time.
The registration fee for the Conference is $10.00 and is due with the registration form (link to registration page). It includes lunch, registration, sessions and workshops, and conference materials.

to learn!

Share. Learn.
The morning will be a time to share your experiences, from abroad and
now that you are back at home and on campus. You'll have opportunities
for reflection, telling stories, and learn from your peers. We will
discuss strategies for working through the adjustment back to the US,
and we'll also explore ways that your overseas experiences set you apart
in the crowd!
Taking it to the next level.
In the afternoon, we'll look more at ways
and opportunities for you to build upon your study abroad
experience after college. This will include panel discussion
on the following subjects:

The Re-entry conference
will also feature a photo contest. Participants should send in their submissions by the October 8th registration deadline. Voting
will occur over lunch, and the winners will be announced at
the end of the day!

International Opportunities Fair: With representatives from graduate schools,
non-profits, international business and education, we will
help you learn about the different possibilities, work to
perfect your resumé, and figure out how to take the next
steps! We will first run concurrent sessions, so that you can
choose which programs and organizations to learn more about,
but then we'll open it up to an International Opportunities
Fair, so that you can speak individually with the
organizations and schools that interest you most!
In addition, we will have resume critiquing stations set
up with professionals from various organizations who are there
to assist you perfect your resume.
