Photo Contest
The Re-entry
Conference will also feature a photo contest. The deadline for
submitting photos is October 8th, 2005. Students attending the conference
will be asked to vote on their favorite photo in the following
four categories:
- Culture
- Portraits
- Urban
and Rural Landscapes
- Trains,
Planes, and Automobiles (Transportation).
STA Travel will
be awarding the following prizes to the winners:
- A $100 gift certificate for 1st prize
for each category
- A $25 gift certificate for 2nd prize for
each category
- An STA Travel Gear package
for 3rd prize for each category
Guidelines for Submitting Photos as Hard Copies:
- Photos
must be either 3 ½” x 5” or 4” x 6” (larger photos will not be
accepted).
- Each
person may submit only one photo.
- Each
photo must be labeled on the back with your name, phone
number, location where photo was taken, and its title.
- Each
person entering the photo contest must fill out a photo
submission form (located below) and submit it along with his
or her photo.

Guidelines for Submitting Photos Electronically:
- Photos must be submitted in .jpg format
- Each person may submit only one photo
- Photo file should be named "lastname_category.jpg", to
include the student's last name and the category for which the photo is
being submitted.
- Each person must complete the Photo Contest Submission Form and attach
the form to their email along with their photo.
Prizes can
only be awarded to winners present at the
conference!!!!
Please
remember to pick up your photo at the end of the
conference!!!!
