Eligibility: Minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be at least
18 years of age and have graduated from high
school. Open to students with any level of French.
Beginner level (A1.1) is for students who have never taken French before.
Elementary levels (A1, A2, A2+) generally require at least 1 semester of college French.
Intermediate levels (B1, B1+ and B1++) generally require at least 2 semesters of college French.
Advanced levels (B2 and B2+) generally require 3-4 semesters of college French.
Superior levels (C1 and C2) generally require 4+ semesters of college French.
Summer students earn 5-6
semester credits (84 contact hours).
Upon completion of the program, students
receive an official transcript from the Institut Catholique de
Paris.

PARIS, FRANCE SUMMER PROGRAM
This is an intensive French language summer program. Students will have 21
hours of class per week, for a total of 84 contact hours. The classes include
15 hours of French language classes per week, plus workshops in oral French, written French or French culture.
French language classes meet Mon-Fri from 9am-12pm; the workshops meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 2-5pm.

At the Institut Catholique de Paris, there are 2 Beginner levels: A1.1 (complete beginner)
and A1.
