Rome, Italy - Semester & Summer Program: Italian plus Electives

*In addition to the ASA program price, students are required to pay an apartment damage deposit of $200 by credit card, upon arrival in Rome. Also, most classes require that each student pay a Site Visit Fee, to cover museum visits and/or art supplies, which is not included with the ASA price. Check the course description for the Site Visit Fee, or if it is not listed, contact ASA.

Eligibility: Students must be over 18 years of age and have completed at least 2 semesters of study at a U.S. university, college, or community college. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 (firm). Open to students with any level of Italian.

Total contact hours: 195 - 240 per semester. 15 contact hours = 1 semester credit.
10 contact hours = 1 quarter unit.

Possible U.S. Credits: 13-16 semester credits per semester. 3-6 semester credits per summer session. Normal course load is 4-5 courses per semester or 1-2 courses per summer session.



COURSES SUBJECT TO CHANGE. The final transcript for the ASA Rome program at The Pantheon Center is issued by Connecticut College.

    LISTED BELOW ARE THE COURSE OFFERINGS FOR THE SUMMER 2008 SESSION. Students may take a maximum of 6 credits per summer session. Italian language classes are worth 6 credits each and are intensive; elective are worth 3 credits each. It is not mandatory to take Italian language.
