Florence University of the Arts - Course Offerings (Summer 2012)

Florence University of the Arts offers four 3-week Summer sessions (Summer I, II, III and IV) and two 6-week sessions (Summer A and B). Program dates are linked above.

Students will choose 1 or 2 classes per sesssion, for a total of 3 or 6 semester credits. It is not mandatory to take Italian language during the summer session. You may not take more than one Italian language during any one session.  Classes are held Monday through Friday. Students wishing to earn more than 3 credits per session must receive approval from their home university. All classes are taught in English except Italian language and literature courses.

All students MUST get DOUBLE the number of classes approved by their academic advisor than they actually plan to take. When you pre-register for classes (this happens after you're accepted), you will have to list a one alternate class for each of your top choices, and FUA will not process your registration unless you complete the form accordingly.

LAB FEES

Please note: a limited number of classes have additional lab fees for academic field trips and/or materials that must be paid by the student. Click here for Summer 2011 lab fees. Lab fees are subject to change.
