Language Eligibility: open to all levels of Spanish.
Please note: From the Spring 2011 semester and thereafter, the Universidad de Sevilla will also
offer electives in English (for students with any level of Spanish ability) and Spanish language for Beginner and Low Intermediate levels!
-In order to take Intermediate level courses taught in Spanish, students must have completed at least 3 semesters or 5
quarters of college level Spanish.
-In order to take Advanced level courses taught in Spanish,
students must have completed at least 4 semesters or 6
quarters of college level Spanish.

Total contact hours: 180-225 per semester.
15 contact hours = 1 semester credit; 10 contact hours = 1 quarter unit.
Possible U.S. Credits: 12-15 semester credits per semester. Normal course load is 4-5 classes per semester.

All students MUST get a total of 8 classes approved by their academic advisor, in case of changes in course availability
or schedule conflicts. That way, if a class is full or cancelled,
or if 2 of the classes you want to take meet at the same time,
you'll already have back-up classes that you know your school will accept. When you pre-register for classes (this happens after you're accepted), you will have to list a total of 8 possible classes on your registration form, in order of preference.
The final transcript for this program is issued by the Universidad de Sevilla.
Classes are taken at the University of Sevilla with other American and foreign students.
Each class is 45 contact hours (3 semester credits).
Students take 4 or 5 courses from the list below.
