Summer Program
Eligibility: For Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced level students.

-Beginner level is for students who have never taken Spanish before.
-Low Intermediate level is for students who have taken 1-2 semesters or 1-2 quarters of college level Spanish.
-Intermediate level must have completed 2-3 semesters or 3-4 quarters of college level Spanish.
-Advanced level must have completed at least 4 semesters or 6 quarters of college level Spanish.


Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students must have graduated from high school and be at least 18 years of age.

Total classroom hours: 90 per summer.
Possible U.S. Credits: 6 semester hours.


All students will take a Spanish language placement test upon arrival.

Students take one of the following classes for a total of 90 contact hours (6 semester credits / 9 quarter units).

Beginning Intensive Spanish & Chilean Culture - 90 contact hours

Intensive Spanish & Chilean Culture, Low Intermediate Level - 90 contact hours

Intensive Spanish & Chilean Culture. Intermediate Level - 90 contact hours

Intensive Spanish & Chilean Culture, Advanced Level - 90 contact hours
