Wednesday, 2 - UPO students arrive in Sevilla; airport pick-up for students
who arrive at SVQ airport before 8pm. Move in with host families.
Thursday, 3 - ASA Orientation Meeting for UPO students.
Friday, 4 - ASA Orientation continues
Monday, 7 - Placement exam at the UPO, campus tour
Tuesday, 8 - Exam results, academic orientation, welcome reception at the UPO
Wednesday, 9 - Classes begin at the UPO
Friday, 11 - Makeup for Monday class (UPO)
Friday, 18 - Makeup for Monday class (UPO). LAST DAY TO DROP OR ADD A CLASS AT UPO.
Monday, 21 - Universidad de Sevilla students depart from the U.S.
Tuesday, 22 - USev students arrive in Sevilla; airport pick-up for students

Wednesday, 7 - 3pm: Spanish Intercambio (language exchange - for UPO students)
Monday, 12 - La Hispanidad, Spain National Day (holiday).
Wednesday, 14 - LAST DAY TO ADD/DROP A CLASS at the Universidad de Sevilla. Spanish Table (for UPO students)
Monday, 19 - UPO Mid-terms (until Oct. 29)
Wednesday, 28 - English Table (for UPO students)
Thursday, 29 - End UPO mid-terms; no classes at the Universidad de Sevilla

Wednesday, 9 - Christmas Spanish / English Table (for UPO students)
Thursday, 10 - Last day of classes at the UPO
Monday, 14 - Final exams begin at the UPO (until Dec. 18)
Wednesday, 16 - Final exams begin at the Universidad de Sevilla (until Dec. 17)
Thursday, 17 - Final exams end at the Universidad de Sevilla
Friday, 18 - Final exams end at the UPO. Farewell reception
Saturday, 19 - End of program; students vacate their program housing.

who arrive at SVQ airport before 8pm. Move in with host families.
Evening Orientation meeting to cover medical procedures, housing, transportation, safety, etc.
Thursday, 21 - Orientation II: Walking tour of the city center (Cathedral, Barrio Santa Cruz) with Practical Stops (i.e. purchase bus/metro tickets, ATM machines, shopping, etc.)
Friday, 22 - Orientation III: Scavenger Hunt in the city!
Monday, 25 - (10:00, 10:30, 11:00 am) Placement exams at the UPO & campus tour
Tuesday, 26 - Placement exam results, academic orientation, welcome reception at the UPO
Wednesday, 27 - Classes begin at the UPO
February 2010
Monday, 1 - Universidad de Sevilla (USev) students depart from the U.S.
Tuesday, 2 - USev students arrive in Sevilla; airport pick-up for students
who arrive at SVQ airport before 8pm. Move in with host families.
Evening Orientation meeting to cover medical procedures, housing, transportation, safety, etc.

Tuesday, 9 - Wednesday, 10 - 3-4pm: social/cultural activity and Intercambio event (language exchange) (for UPO students.) NOTE: Elisa can arrange intercambios for USev students.
Friday, 12 - Flamenco show at Tablao de Flamenco
Friday, 19 - Overnight excursion to MADRID.
Saturday, 20 - Day excursion to TOLEDO.
Sunday, 21 - MADRID, Return to Sevilla
Wednesday, 24- 3-4pm: Spanish table (for UPO students)
