Buenos Aires, Argentina: Universidad de Belgrano – Summer Course Offerings

We are pleased to offer a 4-week Latin American Studies and Spanish Language program in Buenos Aires at the Universidad de Belgrano.  Students will take 2 classes for a total of 120 contact hours (equivalent to 8 U.S. semester credits).  Classes are available only for Intermediate and Advanced level students, and students will have to take a placement test online to ensure they are eligible.

Each class meets 4 times per week for 2.5 hours per class session, for a total of 60 contact hours per course.  Please remember that because Argentina is in the southern hemisphere, summer in the U.S. is actually winter there.  The winter season in Buenos Aires is quite mild, with temperatures typically in the 40’s.

In addition to the Latin American Studies summer program, we also offer an intensive Spanish Language summer program in Buenos Aires.  For more information about this, please visit our Courses page, under the “Program Info” header.

Students must have a total of 4 classes pre-approved  for credit by their home institution.
